Seeking an experienced Childcare Director to join a privately owned Centre in the Engadine Area (Southern Sydney) They require a Centre Manager to lead their service and who has experience in successful A&R outcomes. This 90 place service (ages 0-6 year olds) is above ratio with highly supportive and driven staff. This is a privately owned centre, and they are looking for a Centre Leader who is willing to lead long term. To be considered for this position, applicants must have the following : A completed ACECQA approved Bachelor's degree with NESA status Be highly qualified - Minimum 3 years’ director experience within the Early Childhood sector (essential) Experience with staff development & leadership in a similar role (essential) Passionate belief in early years care, development, and education of children Available 5 days a week for full-time work (essential) Australian Working Rights Working knowledge of the Early Years Learning Frameworks (EYLF) Sound understanding of the Education and Care Services National Law (2010) and the Education and Care Services National Regulations (2011) Completion of an Approved Child Protection course A current First Aid Certificate, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis training Excellent interpersonal skills oral and written communication skills, public speaking confidence High level of accuracy and eye for detail in all completed work Ability to independently plan and implement early childhood programs Able to manage own time to achieve all outcomes, the ability to prioritise and organise a busy workload High level computer skills (MS Office products including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook, Xplor) Effective assessment and evaluation techniques Is able to establish positive and warm educator/parent relationships Strong, confident and motivated personality with an ambition to provide education standards of excellence. Understanding the needs of each room through observation and identifying areas for improvement in a timely manner.
